What nextround is
nextround lets a host prepay a group bar tab, invite guests, and set spending limits. Guests order at the bar and their drinks go on the host's tab. nextround is in early preview, so some features are still being built and may change.
Hosts
- You're responsible for your tab's budget, spending controls, and guest list.
- Only invite people who have agreed to hear from you. Don't use nextround to send messages to people who haven't given permission.
- Funds you add to a tab are spent by the guests you allow. Purchases made within your limits are charged to your tab.
Guests
- Only join tabs you've been invited to, and stay within the limits the host sets.
- You won't be charged for drinks on a host's tab.
Drinking responsibly
You must be of legal drinking age (21 or older in the United States) to order alcohol. Bars set their own policies, check ID, and may refuse service at any time. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. The service fee is shown before you pay. Refunds for unused tab balances and venue minimums follow the policy shown when you book and the participating bar's rules.
Text messaging terms
Program: nextround tab alerts. Description: booking confirmations, join codes, invites, and alerts about group bar tabs. Hosts opt in by checking “Send me text updates” when opening a tab; guests get an invite only when a host they know adds their number.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, and you'll get one confirmation that you've been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or email bradburnes21@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your number.
The fine print
nextround is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything that happens at a bar. We may update these terms; we'll change the date above when we do.
