How it works

The best nights start with a better tab.

You prepay the tab for your birthday, chapter event, or party. Your guests drink on it. You stay in control of every round.

1

Choose your bar.

Pick a participating bar, or tell us where you're hosting and we'll help set it up.

2

Set your budget.

Decide how much goes on the tab. You can always add more later.

3

Invite your people.

Share one link or QR code. Guests join from their phone, with no app to download.

4

Run the night.

Watch the tab live from your phone, and step in only when you need to.

5

Close out.

End the night with one tap and a clean receipt. No passing a check around the table.

Questions

Good to know.

Does everyone need to download an app?

No. Hosts and guests use nextround right in their phone's browser. Apple Wallet support is coming soon.

How do guests join?

They scan your QR code or open your invite link, enter their name, and they're on the tab. If you turn on approvals, you approve each guest first.

Can I set a spending limit?

Yes. Set a limit for each guest, a maximum for the whole event, or both.

Can I add more money during the night?

Yes. Add funds from your phone in a few taps, without stopping the party.

What happens when the budget runs out?

New purchases are declined until you add funds. You'll get a low-balance heads-up before you get there.

Can I remove someone from my tab?

Yes. Pause or remove any guest's access at any time. Anything they already bought stays on the tab.

What if my bar isn't listed?

Tell us where you're hosting and we'll reach out to the venue. Your tab goes live once they're set up with nextround.

How does payment work?

You prepay your budget once your event is confirmed, and guests spend from it. Payments aren't live yet. This site is an early preview.

Are there any fees?

There will be a small service fee, always shown before you confirm. Final pricing hasn't been set yet.

Can I use nextround for a private event?

Yes. Many venues offer reserved areas or private rooms, and you can request one when you set up your tab.

You bring the people. We'll handle the tab.
