What we collect
- Hosts: your name, email, and phone number, plus the details of your tab (occasion, bar, date, budget, and spending controls).
- Guests: the name and phone number or email a host enters when inviting you, or that you enter when you join a tab.
- Tab activity: purchases made on a tab, who made them, and the remaining balance.
- Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To create and run your tab, show hosts and guests what they need, and keep spending within the limits the host sets.
- To send booking confirmations, invites, and updates about a tab by email or text message.
- To respond to you when you contact us.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
nextround tab alerts are transactional text messages about group bar tabs:
- Hosts who check “Send me text updates” when opening a tab receive a booking confirmation with their join code, and alerts about their tab, such as when a guest joins.
- Guests receive an invite text only when a host they know adds their number to a tab. Hosts agree to add only people who have given permission to be contacted.
Message frequency varies with tab activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and HELP for help. You can also email us at bradburnes21@gmail.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run nextround, and only so they can do that job:
- Supabase (database), Vercel (website hosting), Twilio (text messages), Resend (email), and Stripe (payments).
- The bar hosting your tab sees what they need to serve your group, such as the tab name, guest names, and purchases.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep tab records so hosts can see receipts and history. To have your information deleted, email bradburnes21@gmail.com and we'll remove it, except where we need to keep payment records by law.
Age
nextround is for people of legal drinking age (21 or older in the United States). We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
